VILLA BOCCELLA LUXURY TUSCAN ESTATE

A beautiful 17th Century Tuscan holiday estate, in top condition. The estate is very well situated 10 Kilometers from Lucca, one hour from the international airport of Pisa. Just an hour from Florence, and near to the many beaches on the Versiglia coast. Ideal for large family gatherings, small family gatherings, and any groups who want peaceful and spacious rooms to meet and study. It is already much used for cooking courses, Leadership and life skills courses, yoga, small weddings, and guided visits to the local gardens and Renaissance treasures of Tuscany. We have many returning families and groups who come back year after year.

Whether you want to run a course on Renaissance art, visit the local wineries, enjoy a family holiday, keep the children happy swimming, and eating pizza, here you can let them safely play in the bamboo woods making camps to their hearts delight. Some love the atmosphere so much they choose to read a book, relax, or meditate in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Boccella grounds.

The estate is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful city of Lucca or a little longer by bicycle along the river path. In Lucca it is fun to explore the small streets, full of interesting shops, and restaurants. Wander around the various food, plant and antique shows held on top of the ancient walls that surround Lucca.

The other five properties on the estate offer top quality accommodation, three with private pools, all located in their own private grounds. They have been decorated in classic Tuscan style with the addition of very comfortable English armchairs and sofas inside, with plenty of outdoor seating, and tables to eat al fresco. In addition there are fine landscaped gardens around the houses.

The estate olive grove still produces its own fine quality cold pressed oil, fruit and vegetables in season, and fresh eggs when the hens are laying. The grounds and houses are managed and cared for by our English speaking Estate Manager, David, and his Italian wife, Silvia who are very helpful, they really enjoy ensuring our guests have the best Tuscan experience possible.
